NVCA Post Election Analysis

By By:Mark Heesen | November 17, 2010 at 4:29 pm

(Editor’s Note: This post comes to us from Mark Heesen, President of the National Venture Capital Association (NVCA))

We at the NVCA recently published a detailed analysis of the recent election results relevant to public policies pertaining to the venture capital industry. From defeating Prop 23 in California to a Republican-controlled House of Representatives, voters across the country have spoken and the implications will be significant for venture capital firms and our portfolio companies. While our outlook varies issue by issue, the NVCA feels very well positioned after this election to advocate effectively for policies that foster innovation and encourage entrepreneurship.
